Am trying to decide where to sneak off to sunday. I was supoposed to be working all weekend, but deal fell through I was working. Bad for business but good for ski time. Can't go saturday. I am thinking about Tline, Snowshoe or winter green. I have a couple tickets for snowshoe still, but about a 4.5 hour drive. If I go to Tline will probably go over to Petersburg to parents night before and go up in AM, could go to Shoe from there but probably another 45 mins or so drive. I haven't been to wintergreen since 90's(I think). I think it would be aboout 2 hours. Massanutten is closest, but last couple times I went there there were bussloads of kids on organized trips and people all over the slopes kamakazi style. Decisions, decisions....

Well you cant compare Snowshoe and WTG, but WTG is (in my opinion) better than NUT. The advance terrain is off by its self and the crowds don't show till late. Plus they have 2 six packs to move the crowds when necessary. Thus I would recommend WTG. It is going to be warm this weekend thus must folks will not be thinking skiing so that should thin the crowds as well.

Never the less I plan to be at WTG early Sunday AM! (Black helmet and old orange shell with lots of old lift tickets flying!)
