Timberline in April?

As most of you know, Timberline is scheduled to close at the end of March. I was told by a Timberline employee (that definitely would know) yesterday that Doc would consider keeping the mountain open passed the scheduled close date if he thought people would still come out and ski. This individual encourage me to contact Timberline and let Doc know that there are plenty of us that would like the season of snow to continue into may. So......., if anyone is interested either post here or send Doc a note.
Count me in. That said, my wife and I are season passers, so we don't count for much revenue for Doc other than a couple of mystery meat burgers a day.
Maybe this thinking is out of line, but considering the season ends officially on the 28th, Season passes and employee free-rides should expire as of that date. If Doc were to offer a saturday/sunday lift ticket for say April 3/4 and even April 10/11 we should be willing to pay a $25/day amount. After all, he would be doing us a favor to keep the lifts running and paying patrol to be on board. If it were my decision, i would'nt even groom unless absolutely necessary and then only one or two runs.
I'll be skiing somewhere that weekend, I'd prefer Timberline, but Snowshow is open, Whitegrass should be open, but i'd prefer Timberline i might even work a day for free.
New England would not be out of the question.
edit- Ya, I'd be willing to pay.
I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee as well.
would definitely come out... maybe just open on weekends??
Does anyone have the email or contact info for Doc at Timberline? Due to a broken ankle with severely sprained tendons in my ankle area I've only been able to ride once at Whitetail this year and would LOVE to get in a few more runs here in a few weeks if Tline is still open.
Brad,
At least the Shoe is planning to remain open until April 4th, Easter Sunday.

Yes but...things are looking warm and rainy between now and then. What do our weather experts think we can expect in late March early April?
I dunno what thye say... even id it remains mild the snowpack is deep and will remain on trails. Remember last year when everybody closed by mid march except t-line? Although we had to do some hiking, the spring corn was great! We poached and poached until we couldn't poach anymore.
Timberline shut down the lifts for the season Sunday March 28 with no lift lines, 100% open, plenty of base, skiable glades and awesome bump skiing.
You sound full of remorse.
And to think... the majority of that snow was what Ullr gave to us in February. Kinda makes you sick
to think of letting it just waste away. At least the end of season party was a blast.
Remorse? Naw I have no regrets i doubt you do either cause we were there. I really feel bad for all the people who could've and didn't. Just as the ski season doesn't start until you go skiing, it doesn't end til you quit. All I saw in my rear view mirror yesterday was a bunch of snow that's gonna get hiked, no way they'll be able to ski it all.

Not to sound overly despondent, but if the huge snows this year didn't prod enough folks to ski in March to keep Tline open into April (and Whitetail/Lib/RT open past mid-March), then it is hard for me to see what would do so. Admittedly cold temps in the cities in the second half of March would help. But really, isn't it just part of the price of living in the MidA?
#1 a piss poor march weather wise..Looking back over the years there are not too many back to back below ave marches so next year is a good bet(last year was subpar also) (60 inches in 05)..Snow Means Buisness!
#2 not having a modern 1500' to 2000' vert Mtn...Bring on Almost Heaven!..or something along those lines..

Looks like tomorrow afternoon might be a good day to check out the Quads at Tline.
