Brand New Trail Map - Canaan
May 28, 2010
Really excited about the latest files sent to the printer. New for 2010, Trail Map covering Canaan Valley and:
From Thomas to Dryfork...
From Parsons to Dolly Sods...
Maps have bene printed.
They have been cut.
They are officially being folded.
They'll be in all the main local shops here in Canaan Valley, and Davis.
Expected arrival:
May 20th 2010.
Just thought that I would share the enthusiasm.
Looking forward to see them. I'll be up on the 22nd and will hopefully pick some up! Thanks, Vic.
Excited to see the new map...on a seperate note I have really been enjoying the photos on your visistcanaan web site recently...they really show how special the Canaan Valley area is in the summertime...the winter time-skiing etc is the best in the mid-a up here(especially nordic and backcountry), but the winter time doesn't even come close to comparing to the summers up here in Canaan...few people realize what a wonderfuly unique place Canaan is in the summertime and your pictures do it justice...thanks for posting them on your website...Canaan is the highest valley east of the Mississippi and I believe has the lowest latitude boreal forest in the world--- making for a truly amazing place to relax and/or play till your hearts content, without the heat or humidity(80 degrees is a scorcher up here)....maybe one day someone besides you will advertise it,,,maybe not and it will just stay a hidden paradise for us locals and lucky vacationers who have discovered the Canaan...Hey there is a slogan for you "Discover Canaan"...
There is such a contrast from down here on the SE NC coast & the Valley that makes it such a pleasant treat when I head up there in the summer. Even a "Hot" day up there starts off cool & during the peak of heat there are always Mountain breezes! If the High for the day hits the low 80's it is a little misleading because it takes many hours to get there & peaks for such a short time & drops fast as the aft/eve come on. The Lush Canadian like Greenery sure makes you feel like you've traveled a much further distance!...Corr H is your "Discover Canaan"..won't need much advert after that!

Wow, that looks bad! I'm surprised it survived this past winter. What do you think the odds of Doc replacing the whole thing?? I'd say about the same as T-line's 2010-2011 season starting Thanksgiving week......oh yeah, with a highspeed quad too.
...I know that complex math couldn't calculate it, but what are the odds the bathrooms will be clean this coming year?
