Catch of the Day - Fabulous Old Ski Photos from Google/Life

If you go to Google Images and click on lower left icon for Life (Magazine) Photo Archive there is some amazing stuff. Type in a word like Stowe or Aspen and see what kicks up! A lot of the old pictures aren't fully identified. This makes for a guessing game about dates and other details. Here are a few fun shots I stumbled on. Click on photos to view full size.

1964 Legendary US Olympic Skiers, the guy identified only as "manager" is famous ski coach/personality Bob Beattie

Sun Valley skiing, no date, probably early 50's, maybe even 40's.
Check out the ski boots and the old beer/soda bottles.
