Cows & Animals dying off in the Amazon region?..Thats a brutal Cold snap! Be nice to be able to pull off a ski trip down there right about now after the sweatbox we have had here lately!...5 feet in Bara something?..got to look that place up on google maps....

You would think that Denis would have a trip report by now!..What would the airfare be to tack on to these rates?

It always seems like when we are having an exceptional stretch of weather, someplace far away is having an equally exceptional stretch in the opposite direction.

I heard the weatherman today say there have been 39 days above 90 degrees already in DC this summer. Believe June had about 19 or 20 alone. I think the norm is about 30 for an entire summer. Last summer there was a total of 22 days above 90.

Delta can get you from DC to Santiago in a little over 12.5 hours for just a shade under $3,000.
