I have a lovely condo for sale in beautiful Canaan Valley, WV. It is located at the four season Deerfield Resort. It has a view of the slopes, but not located within the ski resort. It is approximately 5 minutes from the ski areas. It has an outdoor pool, tennis courts and walking trails on the resort premises. Also close to Canaan Valley Golf Course. We have lived there for the past 6 years, and it has not been on the rental market. It is 3 bedroom 3 bath. It is priced to sell at 190,000.00. It is totally furnished with tasteful furniture and Waverly, LL Bean, etc bed clothing. It is ready to move into...kitchen is fully equipped with Fiesta Ware dinner settings and all untensils and cookware. My husband just took a job in our hometown. Please contact me. I can furnish pictures and other information. There are other condos for sale, but this priced the lowest.

Hmmm. Aren't those places townhouses?

Referring to them as condos is doing yourself a disservice, IMO.
Condo carries the connotation of an apartment-style structure...like Beaver Ridge or Windwood, for example.

Your place is a condominium is the strictest sense of the word since that refers to the ownership arrangement of the Common Elements like a pool, tennis courts, and so forth.

But you'd be better off to avoid the "condo" description and call it a "townhouse" to give a better representation of what those places are.

O.K. You're correct.....so, are you interested or do you know anyone that might be? This site is new to me and was suggested by a friend to advertise our "townhouse".

Not familiar with Cannaan real estate, but Snowshoe real estate is going for half the purchase price at best...some include 1 years prepaid condo fees. 3 bdrm/2 bath sell for $150k. You can ask anything, but when you look at the comps that actually SOLD -

I both a homeowner in the CV area and a condo owner in Northwoods which is a short walk to the slopes. A unit close to mine sold last spring for $165k when other were for sale for over $200k. I think prices are finally settling into what they should be for the area. That recent sale really blew the comps for anyone selling. I'm not sure about Deerfield. I imagine that those prices will tumble a piece yet especially if there are motovated sellers. As for my house, that's another story. House prices are remaining rather high but they too will fall a bit. I have some renovation to do to it but am reluctant at the moment to put a lot into it because I won't see the return if I need to sell. I imagine that there will be foreclosures as well due to the number of recent speculative buyers and that will affect values as well.

Yes, that is an excellent price for deerfield... I think there is another one in there that is listed for the same price with a local realty company, but it could be the same unit...

At the risk of a hy-jack, Jimmy, you can park a fema trailer in ther t-line parking lot. They will never notice if you get it close enough to the maintenence buildings with all the other junk they have there. That way you don't have to drive after leaving the Pub.
