well Hidden Valley is expanding their ski school again after having such an extensive ski school program. last year the new program was VIF(very important family). which was a program that helped families learn how to ski together. This year they will have a program called smart start that helps skiers and boarders use chairlifts, ski or board on runs ,and so on. So my Question is why is it rated so low on the web poll?

What web rating are you talking about? I have limited experience with the ski school, but I have heard good things about it. I think it is probably more oriented toward beginner or novice skiers which HV tends to cater to. If they ever get the new terrain open which appears to be more challenging, I think HV will attract higher level skiers. This may change the focus of the ski school somewhat.

the dcski one. only one person voted for HV. I also agree the new expansion has intermediat to expert only terrain (mostly expert). I would think they might change their focus a little on ski school.

That poll is almost 3 yrs old. Not sure how much faith I would put in it at this point as a lot of places have made a lot of changes. That being said, and having my gf go through hv ski school a few weeks ago as her first time ever on a mountain, I would have to rate their ski school as excellent. I plan on putting my, will be three yr old, in their ski school next season. So hopefully I will have more good things to say...
