I read on Snowshoe's Facebook page that they are going to do the Kroger lift ticket deal this season. They said details coming soon.
Last year, if you purchased four 12 pks of Coke products, you could redeem your receipt for a buy one get on free lift ticket at Snowshoe. Here's the ad from 2009
Buy em up fast. They never last long.
Yes, please bring the Kroger deal back to Snowshoe for 2010 :-)
I heard from a Snowshoe employee that it's in the works and something s/b announced in the next week or two.
From Snowshoe's Facebook page:
"Kroger/Coke details are in!
Available at participating Kroger stores 11.25-1.1.11
Buy four (4) 12-packs of Coke Products and bring your proof of purchase to Snowshoe Mountain to receive a FREE lift ticket of equal or lesser value when purchasing an adult full-day lift ticket at regular price.
Black out dates for ticket r...edemption: 12.25-1.2.11, 1.14-1.17, 2.18-2.21"
They added a bit of info

Thanks. I guess that means we're planning a midweek snowshoe trip.
So i rented a place in SNowshoe through VBRO, midweek, Sun-Fri, was planning on Skiing Mon-Thurs. With this deal, which my dates are not in the blackout, is it as simple as go to Kroger, buy 4 12pks of coke on the same receipt, bring said receipt to Snowshoe when I go to buy my lift tickets, show them the receipt (and only the receipt?), and i can get 2 days for the price of one?
If I go to Kroger, and buy 4 12pks on one reciept, then buy 4 12pks on another receipt, will I be able to get this deal twice? So I go in when I check in, buy Mondays, get Tuesdays free. Go back Tuesday night with the other receipt, buy Wed, and then get thursdays for free? Will the work?
Last questions is same as above, but then also do the same deal with my wife? Which would be a total of 16 12pks purchased on 4 different receipts? Would that work as well?
I don't think you get two days for the price of one. When you buy the lift ticket you get a free one for the same day. If your wife is going to be with you, it shouldn't be a problem. If you check Snowshoe's page on facebook, they explain it there.
Is there anyway to tell what stores are participating? Is there a list somewhere?

The only thing Snowshoe stated on their FB page was several states (WV, VA, NC, TN, OH + KY) They said to call your "local store" to verify participation.
We're talkin' 'bout Snowshoe (50 cents IS change for a dollar) Resort, right? Bet you'll find you will be paying $79/day, 1 trail open, and have a lot of Coke! LOL Your best bet: raise your VISA credit limit and bring a lot of rum!
Stopped by Kroger in Elkins today and the deal has started. You buy 4 cartons of Coke products and get a free Snowshoe ticket (adult or child) when you purchase an adult ticket (excludes weekends and holiday periods). The first 3 packs of Coke are 3 for $9, then the fourth is $5. Total with tax is $15.04.

IS there anything special about the cokes themselves? Is there a form or anything to let you know which ones are OK to get? I am headed down to one of the richmond stores this weekend maybe to pick up some and am curious what to look to make sure I get the right stuff... Any help?
It can be any Coke product 12 pack. I purchased Coke and Sprite. No special packages of these products, just get them off the shelf. Once they ring up the cost, your receipt will give the info about the Snowshoe ticket deal. We did this last year also and had no problems. Just keep the ORIGINAL receipt and when you to to Snowshoe, show it to them and they will give you another adult or child ticket (a ticket of equal or lessor value) when you purchase an adult ticket. Again, details will be on the Kroger receipt.
One note - the "free" ticket is only valid on the same day you purchase the first ticket so it must be used the same day.
One other thing - not all Krogers offer this deal. I'm not sure which ones are doing it - the only one I've used has been in Elkins, WV. I have heard that Lewisburg, WV has a Kroger that offers this deal also. Good luck.
This may help. I believe the deal is limited to stores in Krogers "mid-atlantic" region.
Use the link below to search for a store
STORE SEARCHFind "your store" and click on their weekly ad link
*** Look in the link address to your weekly ad you will see your region name in the first part of the link. ***
Example Morgantown, WV - Region is midatlantic Region based on the url below

Here's a quick list I copied off some coupon blog
REGION/ CITY/ SALE CYCLE

Tri-Cities TN
Raleigh NC
Durham NC
Greenville/Wilson NC
Roanoke VA
Norfolk VA
Richmond
Virginia Beach VA
South Charleston, WV
West VA (except Pan Handle)
Ashland, KY
East KY
Lynchburg VA
Can anyone in the Charlotsville, VA area confirm if it has, or is, working at those stores? Its coming up Mid Atlantic, but not listed in the cities.
I called a participating kroger and they said that the coupon is no longer printing, but that Snowshoe is checking the receipt and honoring the deal. Can anyone verify?

Welcome to the group, Cornell! Your question sounds like a good one to post on Snowshoe's Facebook page.

I have a two-for-one Kroger/Coke Snowshoe coupon left over from last season. Like this year's coupon, it's good on non-holiday Monday-Fridays only.
However, the 2009-10 coupon doesn't happen to list an expiration date. Does anyone know if SS is honoring the 09-10 coupons this year?
Just askin'

In case anybody was wondering, Costco in Fairfax has the 2 pack of Snowshoe lift tickets for $125. They also have 2 pack of Wisp weekend tickets for $85 or $89 (can't remember). Also, they have Seven springs 2 packs for a very good price, around $55 or $60. Finally, I saw a 5 pack of Park City Mountain resort tickets for about $250 or so.
Other than the Snowshoe price, I'm not 100% sure about the accuracy.
So do I have to make it to Snowshoe with my receipt by 29 December to get my buy one get one lift ticket deal which can be used any time during the season or if I buy the Coke now and I show up in January or February with the receipt and proof of purchase will they give me the deal then?

The latter is correct. You must buy the Coke by 12/31/12 but the voucher is valid until 3/31/13.
My uncle grabbed me one recently.
<bump>
Promotion ends 12/29/2012 but the ticket is good through <arch 31, with the usual restrictions (see above).
BTW, four 0.5-liter 6-packs cost only $10. Heck of a deal !
