t-line upgrades?
November 16, 2010
I was just looking at T-line's list of "upgrades" for season. They have listed "increased maintainence of pearly glades, cherry bowl and glade runner among other things. Does this mean they are officially reopening cherry bowl? Anybody out there who knows? And, what is meant by increased maintenance?
Have you been doing any bushwacking Tucker?
...no, bushwackering on my part, I have been concentrating on the work that pays...on an honest, but regretfull note I would doubt any increases maintenance reports...on a positive note I would say that there will be no official reponening of the cherry bowl...on any other note, well it's t-slime...we are lucky they are going to open again this year...are they going to open again this year???
..are they going to open again this year???
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I wanted to ask that Question a month ago...
When will the pain go away...they shoot horses don't they?
And maybe their paychecks won't "bounce" or they will pay their taxes?

Kim, there was some cleanup in the Bowl for the MTB DH trails - mostly JR's crew and some volunteer mountain bikers. The last ATV race though totally trashed the bike trails in there at the beginning of the summer - but also made the trails wider. I understand that Timberline sent the ATV Race promoter a bill for many thousands of dollars to repair the trails - though I don't believe they have collected.

...the funny thing is the advertising of trail maintenance in the cherry bowl, isn't the cherry bowl an area that is officially closed to the public for skiing?
That's what I thought.... guess I need to get to the pub and see what the scuttlebutt is. One thing for sure, expect the unexpected at t-line.
