got glades?
November 29, 2010
coming to a cross-country ski touring center near you. glades, steep to mellow. short shots to continuous runs over 600' vert with 100% organic powder!
looks like the Whitegrass Crew threw some love into those glades...lookin Good!...Can I get a tractor pull up to the top?
A tad better maintained than those at T-Slime.
Last year it didn't matter. This year, unfortunately it might. Rain and snow events are typical for La Nina winters. May not affect the trails much, but kills the base in the trees.
I can see liking Blue Knob, nothing wrong with that. but why trash T-line. If you don't like it don't go.

Timberline IS dirty. But that's why we like it
Nice, nice, I can't wait to cross country. Not only 100% organic powder but also 100% organically earned turns.
don't worry about Tline. The local boys have been doing their share of glading there for the past few months too!

...t-line trashes itself...the people who like to ski it report the trashing...

Nice, are these marked with new signage? Or are they existing glades?

well that piky pic is the baldy steeps. but the new deal is like most glades and stuff and just marked with blue tape at the entrance. the brand new one from roundtop to the bottom is nicknamed 'little wing' and is more like a wide downhill trail following the fall line with a few connecting off chutes rather than just a glade tho. Don't want to give out too specific of a locale till I get to ski it first

I've "
skied" the Baldy Steeps before, if you call what I did
skiing.
It's the Wing that I (and 100s of others) are intrigued by. I'm sure you'll get it before I, no worries there.
