Lou, or somebody in Snowshoe management,
I usually go to Snowshoe a couple of multi-day trips, at least one with 14 members of my family. I have tried multiple times to use the "book on-line" feature to try to find out what units are available for different dates. All I get is a blank screen. I suspect this might cause some loss of bookings as users get frustrated; it certainly means overload and longer waits if each potential party trying to check on availability for various dates has to go through the telephone reservationists to gather the info necessary to plan a trip.
Anybody out there know the answer?

Colonel, I'd give Snowshoe Reservations a call and see what's up.

Dang. Maybe call 1 more time and mention that you need an answer pronto or you're taking your party of 14 else this year. That may get them a little more motivated. Then again, maybe not...

Lou, Please note my first post about the fact that the Snowshoe website has a filter to "book reservations", but it is not operating.
I have called their Marketing Dept., first to notify them of this glitch, then to request an explanation why those of us searching for options for various visits can not get to the needed info, all to no avail. They even indicated they would return my call....but it has been several weeks and no call.
I usually take a family group of 14 for a week, guess they don't care!
Lou, any idea what the problem is or who I call to fix?

They (Snowshoe) seem to be very active on their Facebook page. Maybe posting your issue on their fan page will speed the process.

Heck, why bother ... there are other rental agencies ...

and my favorite (rent directly from an owner)

I think Bill Rock fired the last guy left on the IT staff...and...took Snowshoes' laptop with him! LOL LOL LOL

I send people to ReMax...wouldn't book though SS anyway. If a small family wants a big unit - SS web resv. won't let them...it won't even list, say, the Summit (sleeps 8) if you put in a party-of-4. And FRBO is right. I'd rather have 3 adults in my 3-bedroom, then the 8 college kids SS would put in there. (though I don't rent anyway...just saying...).

P.S. - they got rid of Bill Rock, just fired the F & B mgr., Vancover does not seem interested in sending anyone down, letting the Team run SS. This might be the season SS turns around, and looks back at customer service. Seriously, I'm sure they're working at it. You know, Bill R. took every dept down from a skeleton crew to just a femur! Let's all support them.
