Today at the Shoe was pretty good. Conditions were great on the few trails that they had open. Don't have much time to talk about it.

A short video I shot with my iPhone. It was at the top of the Powderidge Life and followed some green trails (names?) all the back down. My hand almost fell off. It was cold today!

Here's a few shots:

Lots of snowmaking. None of which was on open trails!

Tried out a "NEW" pair of skis, which happened to be a lot of fun. Thanks Dave!

Thanks David. Looks very snowy there. In 2006 over a period of two days demoing 8-10 skis a pair of Fischer RX-9's were my favorite. I would up acquiring a pair of RX-8's, but they are fairly similar. Good for Eastern hardpack.

So YOU were the other guy I saw on the slopes!...Emp-Tee. Sking great, conditions great, weather great (well...it's Winter here)...and no one here...as-witnessed-by: Starbucks - NO LINE. There was enough open to be OK.

Looks awesome -- as usual they deliver pretty good opening conditions at SS. I am hoping to get out there before the holidays this year.
