I'm curious about something. In all of the years since Wisp's North Camp has been open, why has Logger's Way trail never been open or had snow blown on it? I noticed that this morning on Wisp's website, they are 99% open... except loggers way.

Bawalker, I skied Wisp yesterday (great conditions overall BTW) and noticed the same thing.

They seem to be stockpiling snow on Logger's Way right now, perhaps to smooth out and open LW or maybe to save for fixing up nearby trails when necessary. The latter might be a wise move/ I've always wondered why Wisp wanted 3 short novice routes covering the same stretch of mountain, mostly as connector trails.

It was open last year (of course) but you all are right that LW is always late to open.

Do they even have snowmaking set up on it, I am not sure but my recollection is that it does not?

Perhaps a secret or not, but I have spent a few holiday weekend afternoons working these four trails when the rest of the lift lines on the mountain were terminal, and this lift que was only three or four parties deep, if at all.
