Unfortunate "upgrade" at Liberty...
January 10, 2011
They got rid of the old-school lockers that were $1/use, and replaced them with $3 "All-Day Access" lockers (and $5, and $10, depending on the size).
We used to carry boots in, boot up in the lodge, and stash wallet, keys, shoes, etc in the locker, but $3/visit is actually beyond my threshold for such things (call me cheap, I won't take it personally!).
I understand that for someone who needs to get in/out of the locker, this is probably a wash (or even cheaper), but for us, where we'd drop our stuff, and then get it back before heading home, it's a definite downer.
Does anyone know if they put a similar system in at Whitetail?

I hate to say but I am that guy who ditches his shoes under your table in the lodge. Sure it is really annoying but it is free.
Just insure you have back up shoes in the car for the ride home..

Ditto here, but at Liberty they have those cubby holes in the locker room changing area, so when there I use those. Typically the only open ones are high up and I'm short so I end up jumping or throwing my items into them which can also be real annoying.
Start telemarking and use your boots to drive. Faster, better, easier AND you never have to worry about the brake pedal - 'cause it can't be reached.
Am I the only one stripping down and completely changing my clothes in my vehicle? I ride to the mountains in sweats or jeans then change in the Jeep. The gf and I can both manage to change at the same time in a Jeep wrangler (and not one of those fancy 4 door models either.)
