CVR has a nasty habit of stringing snowmaking hoses across powder stashes mid-week (especially early in the season.) Any local skinny about what the situation is this Thursday or Friday? Tucker? Vic? Business Bruce?

Are you guys crazy... they wouldn't do that on a super dupper 20 inches of snow.
On second thoughts, I hope they wouldn't do that, but no first hand knowledge (I have been burried in snow at Tline all day and have no idea as to what the rest of the valley is presently doing)

I've been burned on this at CV too. Made the long haul on a special day a year ago. After checking the online report, the printed report and at the window -- all of which said that the Meadows and Dark Side would be/were open -- I took the lift only to find things closed off by ... snowmaking, after all that champagne powder.

So, what are the chances Dark Side will be open Friday, January 14?
