Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, and Brighton getting 1000 inches this year.

It's nice, but is it necessary? Let some other teams win the Super Bowl for crying out loud. Yes, I'm hating by all accounts. My favorite player in the NFL is Hines Ward, but I just don't want to see the Steelers win another Super Bowl.

Sorry for the hate.

I was saying to my wife in the 4th quarter that if the Steelers blew a 24 point lead at home (which they almost did), you would have saw distraught (and drunk) fans jumping into the Ohio River like lemmings, one after another. Trust me, a lot of people round here base their entire state of mind (happiness or depression) on the fortunes of the Steelers. Sad, but true.

And speaking of sad, if Big Ben were truly a changed guy (which he isn't), he would have asked a defensive player to take his place alongside Mendenhall on the stage with the Rooneys and Tomlin after the game. His alleged new persona is such a farce (i.e. once a jerk, always a jerk), but I have to admit, his plays allowed the Steelers to win the game.

Should be a good Super Bowl, but life goes on with me even if the Steelers lose.

Steelers winning the Super Bowl = a more common event than the Redskins winning a regular season game

Zing.

In all seriousness though, I see it being a great game coming down to either Roethlisberger or Rodgers making a big play at the end. I wouldn't bet on either team, even with the Steelers getting points.

I'm a Titans fan, so Redskins jokes don't bother me.

I understand how some fanbases live vicariously through their teams and it is very important that they win. But to argue that the Cheeseheads will take it less hard than "Steelers Nation" is kind of missing the point don't you think?

Ben is a jerk. Hines Ward is a beast though. Every player should play like him and if you think he's a dirty player, you probably don't know football.

The game (amazingly, considering the Steeler's mistakes) could have gone either way. However, as much as I love the guy, Polamalu was the LVP. It was almost like he wasn't on the field. I assume he is injured more than we know. I've never seen him disappear like that before.

I disagree. He was everywhere and made some great tackles, broke up passes. He is amazingly quick.

The Packers are a better team, to be frankly honest and several of their key players were injured. You need to play all 4 quarters to win a game like this and the Steelers played only 1.5 quarters. The Steelers were over matched. I was actually surprised the Steelers made it to the Super Bowl this year. As we always say...there's always next year.

Congrats to Green Bay. They made the plays and the Steelers didn't. You can't always overcome 3 turn overs that lead to 21 points. In fact, I think the only other stats that Green Bay had over the Steelers were Points and passing yards. 3 turn over and they still could have won the game.

Reminded me of the Ravens game for a while. Packers up 21 - 3. Next thing you know the momentum shifts and Steelers are back in the game. That 2 point conversion was a great play. I really thought Rothlisberger was going to march down the field and win the game in the last 2 minutes. That personal foul on the specialty team guy really hurt. He should be releashed. However, I think the Packers deserved to win.

As someone else said.....next year. At least you got there; the other 24 teams did not..

Go Ravens!
