With the temps around 60F, I'm thinking about going to WT on Thursday to ski some bumps, anyone else skiing or riding tomorrow? I'm also thinking about letting a few of my kids play hookie, so you want to do some turns with your kids, let me know.

awesome near perfect spring skiing! definitely not slushy...perfect softness. tons of snow. I really like Liberty! Such a better feel/vibe than WT for sure, everything about it even the local area feels more retro. Of course its an older ski area and i forgot what it was called before liberty which means it's been there more than 25years. anyone in the dc metro area should consider Liberty as their first option, especially since its the closest!

all the blacks and one blue had bumps on the backside of the mountain where the best skiing is. even tho it's only 620' vert, the quads are fast and you can ski at least 8 runs an hour??

I hadn't skied Liberty in about 6yrs. The place has changed quite a bit, it had a very resorty feel to it. We spent the day running the bumps and playing the terrain park. My kids loved the terrain park, something for every ability. I loved the bumps and the warm weather, nothing like spring skiing. Liberty skis a lot bigger than the 600' of vertical might suggest. All in all, it was a great day, even got to do a few runs with teleman extraordinaire Chaga.
