We were thinking of doing Saturday at Elk and then doing Plattekill on Sunday. Some folks were saying lift lines at Elk might be pretty bad on Saturday and so we're now planning on doing Plattekill both days (contingent on my son getting over his cold!)

I wouldn't expect Elk to be too bad, comparatively at least. I was there around New Year's and over MLK weekend. Lift lines were always under 10min, with the quad side being a bit better. Just make sure you're there a bit early to buy tickets, they only have 4 ticket windows and that line got really long around 9:30/10:00.

agree on getting there early, I think it was MLK weekend last time I was there and it was great from 830-1030 and was never real bad after that. But in AM the Blacks were almost empty.
