I am looking to go to Whitetail this weekend and was wondering how the conditions have been this week, and if Whitetail will have discounts for the end of the season?

I feel bad, I completely never made it to Whitetail this year. That is the first time I've not been to Whitetail for at least 4 years in a row.

It's not really looking good for this weekend. I called and the lady said they may do midweek rates if the conditions deteriorate too quickly because of the rain. It sounded like it would have to be really bad for them to give discounts.

I was able to make it out there once this year, but was attempting to snowboard, so I didn't really get many runs in. I was hoping to get a chance to go out there and ski before the end of the season, but this weather might change those plans.

I skied for a while at WT early this afternoon (Friday, March 11). Limelight, Snow Dancer and Fanciful are closed (rightly so), but the other major runs remain open. The overcast skies kept things from getting too schloppy, although today was indeed spring skiing. Nicest snow was on Sidewinder and Bold Decision, both of which face E rather than SE...very pleasant skiing there!
