At the Snowy Luau, everyone was enquiring about whether there was any snow in the Cherry Bowl Glades. So on Monday, I had some free time to go exploring. Skied into the glades and then traversed over and up to where the main chute really starts to drop. I got 6-7 turns in before I had to stop to navigate. From there on out, it was 3-4 turns, maybe 5 turns without stopping to navigate. There was no hiking was involved. There's still lots of snow in the glades, but I couldn't ski to Sali.

Nothing like skiing natural terrain. But I did learn something, ferns and matted grass are just as skiable as moss. grin

And perfect for buffing the wax on your ski bottoms.
