It stopped raining for a few hours this month and a rainbow showed itself.

The valley seemed like morgan city, la yesterday. We actually got LOST canoeing a section of the blackwater in canaan because we couldn't tell where the river was. It was true 'go anywhere bushwhack paddling' smile Did you know you can float the blackwater for miles (hours) just by putting in at the rt32 bridge by ski barn and take out at the bridge on timberline rd with a 2 minute shuttle? awesome!

Before I got to rainbow the word "era" popped into my mind. I thought this thread was going to be about Doc selling the place.

Hey, maybe he is...still no applications or data for 2011-2012 Season Passes! You would think he would want all the $ he could get in advance, like all the other ski areas.

Colonel,

If ya need, give me a call or send me a PM. I was mailed a 11-12 season pass application. Looks like prices have gone down just a bit, but are the same extremely value priced deal for over 70. In fact, it looks like you can show up opening Day in December and still pay the same price. You've lived and skied long enough to have earned that privy.

No worries mate. We need to educate you about Valley Time. It all works on in the end. Somehow, don't know exactly how, but it does. Mr. Tuck will ed-u-cate you and hopefully not corrupt you. Jimmy and the Gang will ? you. Peace. Pax. Chill. Relax.

Whats the water like? Calm? I've never been on that stretch of river before. Looking for a nice place to take the wife on a fairly calm stretch of water.
