I have been researching various skis to determine which ones I will be purchasing. Recently I read some reviews on Kastle skis and the reviews are very good. These skis are made in Austria by a company with a long tradition of quality and innovative designs. Scoring/ranking that is tallied on RealSkier.com has rankings for these skis higher than most of the brands that we normally have available in our local ski shops (K2, Atomic, Dynastar, etc). And, recently on Epicski, the MX 88 model was touted as the near perfect ski. I was wondering if any DCSKI'er has tried or skied on Kastle skis and if you would care to offer your opinion on the characteristics of the Kastle line.

I skied with Jack Lambert, err... MikeC last January. See third photo here: Black and Gold at Seven Springs He has Kastle skis and likes them a lot. Not sure which model, maybe you can tell from photo. Recall he loaned them out a few times to friends and they raved too. I guess they are pricey. You could try PMing him here or more likely to reach him on epicski at MikeC.

Thanks JimK. I was able to get some input from MikeC. They sound like great skis.
