So in the latest episode of "How Burton Really Hates Snowboarders" they've started pulling copyrighted photos of their boards (from their catalog)that people have used on e-bay. Wow thats a good way to make sure when someone finally sells that board they don't buy another Hurton!

Well, as a Mad River skier and shareholder I am grateful to them for giving MRG some great publicity material over the years.

BTW, I ride a bit but I'm not any good.

This was tried and done in the past by copyright holders of brands like Shimano & Continental. Ebay is very well practiced at enforcing this policy. I used to find it completely ridiculous; nowadays I've found new and better reasons to hate Ebay, especially selling on Ebay. Notice that the copyright holder is not always the parent company; the copyright holder usually -is- the corporate entity responsible for warranty returns.

I used to hate Nike too; in the days when they sold specifically -snowboard- gear they were part of the coalition publishing "discrimination" ads against MRG, Taos and Alta, along with Burton. Now they (Nike) sell 'new school' wear and can't afford to spend a mint repurposing genuine civil rights protest into a one-sided marketing campaign.

BTW, I don't ride. I'm not good enough to be bad at it.
