up to a foot forecast, and it looks like Arapahoe BAsin and Loveland plan to be blowing snow before Friday. If this keeps up, the season will begin on or before 10/14/11.

Let the fun begin!

I was in Las Vegas last weekend, and there is a small area right outside of town, Mt. Charleston, that got 9 inches of snow, and they were open Sunday and today (Columbus Day). I couldn't believe it.

Report today 10/26/11 from a friend who lives in Denver towards the airport side of town: 6" of snow fell overnight with another 4" inches of accumulation expected today. Looks beautiful...Hope the trees don't incur too much damage, most still have leaves...folks around here refer to it as a Autumn snowstorm...In the Rockies Front Range, 2'-3' of snow since yesterday. With daytime temperatures warming most of this snow will be gone in a few days, except in the mountains. Can't wait to view the Rockies from our yard once the weather clears. laugh
