Fishnski and JonJon were right about the flakes falling, but wrong about the amount! It's puking snow still! It's seriously going off!

C'mon man! Some of us would jump in the car and drive 4 hrs. after seeing that. That ain't funny.

Looking at the Dolly sods Cam this morn & panning left to right you will see no snow untill you come to the white capped MPC & surrounding high area...

sorry couldn't resist! there were flakes flying thursday night tho with high winds to make it feel like winter! Interesting it does look a little white up there on that webcam. Still not sure why its called Dolly Sods cam since it's on bearden knob on canaan heights. It's pointing that direction i guess. we ride right by it all the time on bikes to get to the hellbender trail down to the river!

Just to add a little bit more to the anticipation levels... it was flurrying here in Hardy County at a customers house just south of Mathias two mornings ago up on a higher knob. That's the earliest I've seen it flurry yet in some recent memory. Not counting the snow-icane of course. smile

Thats not funny at all. I drove all the down there only to find out that all of the snow had melted! It was a 38F, windy with drizzle. Luckily, I had my bike with me. smile
