Santa bringing us Winter?
December 29, 2011
All good things come to those...That had to wait?..
The latest runs of the man made brains have been showing signs of better things down the road but after all the same signs were there for early Dec & it didn't come about I was leery of posting anything..but here is what NWS just posted...
Long term /Tuesday night through Saturday/...
decent bet for snow showers with lower level temperatures dropping
below zero celsius in support of said precipitation Tuesday night.
GFS ensemble means are hinting at what may finally end up being a
change in the long wave pattern with ridging setting up over the
inter mountain west. This would effectively drop The Heights over
the east in response...and bring a more winter like pattern.
Come on Santa...Weve been good...but we could get a whole lot better!
PS..I'm kinda liking the set up for tue,wed..storm seems to be setting up nicely for the highcountry to weather a little rain tue changing to snow with a nice backside shot.
you'll shoot your eye out
"You'll shoot your eye out"
Took me a little while to figure out what you meant..
Back side shot..HO,HO,HO!!..
