Hunter and Windham are nowheres near completely open but they have significantly more open terrain than anything in the Mid-A. 90 minute longer drive than Elk. Belleayre is in the same region but not as promising.

Heading up next week to see my mother so will try to get in some turns at one of the above.

My wife and I are at this point planning on spending a day or two skiing Whiteface this weekend before heading over to Killington for two days of mid week and hopefully limited crowds for skiing. Looks to be pretty cold which hopefully will let them open some new terrain over the next couple of days. I am just worried about the rain forecasted for tomorrow which might turn it in to a vertical skating rink. Hopefully their groomers are up to the task, and maybe they can pick up an inch or two of snow after the rain.
