For years we would take a long weekend trip to 7springs to stay, we stopped for about 6 or 7 years and then last year picked up a long weekend at Holiday Valley.

So this year I decided due to a new baby that we would stay close to home. Searching 7springs website, it appears that everything is pretty much booked until MARCH!

Even the lodge, if we wanted to go this weekend is solid booked. All their 'packages' are solid booked and every other option out there is from $1k - $1.5k, for 2 nights!

So for giggles, I wanted to see what it would cost to stay at a 'real' resort out west. 10k including flight for a family of 4.

WOW! What happened, did everyone get into snowsports in the last 6 or 7 years?

Did you try calling Al Meucci Real Estate? They handle a lot of rental properties at 7 Springs.

You could do a lot better than 10K for a place out west. Under 5K shouldn't even be very hard.

I have a creekside lodge just down the road from Seven Springs, and still have availability in February, both weekends and weekdays, for much less $ than at the resort. See more details at: www.sylvaniamountainlodge.com
