conditions report
February 14, 2012
Conditions today at t-line were awesome, blue bird day w/ sweet packed pow surface after yesterdays 4 inches of wet snow (really has been a fantastic week w/ surface and weather conditions)...pretty good size crowd for a thursday, maybe a 2 person lift line at times...they were blowing on twister, sally, lower dew drop, and a couple other misc. locations all day...
ya mon! got a few runs in after work at tline, then a sunset ski to bald knob at wg...what a great week of skiing so far!!! have to hook up for some turns sometime..i always see the tucker mobile but never the owner
Friday at Tline was good. Met up with Jimmy and Charlie. Fun skiing.
Toured in the WG Springer area Sat and found some fat drifts but was finally driven off by the wind after a few laps.
Bluebird? Packed powder? Wet snow? Were we on the same hill?
That was a heck of a Saturday at Timberline in the woods, or in and out of the woods. Sunday was different but pretty good conditions on the slopes.
There's nothing like fresh powder, no matter how much we get!
With the copious amount of snowmaking this past weekend, I think t-line will undoubtedly make closing date unless we get a very warm and sustained thaw, then again stranger things have happened. All you flat-landers need to get to the valley and sample the goods... just leave some for us regulars.
Ya Scottyb i have enjoyed your backcountry videos good to finally meet you sorry we did not get around to breaking in that grill though.
Yes Rod you were at the same mountain as Tucker only he was there on Thursday. You were late to the show, or maybe not, i can never tell i get so confused.
