Interesting article by NOAA summarizing our crappy winter:
http://www.noaa.gov/features/02_monitoring/jan_stats.html

Quote:
The first two months of the winter season, December and January, have been much warmer than average for the contiguous United States. The two-month period was the fourth warmest on record with an average temperature 3.8 degrees F above average. Much of the warmth was anchored across the northern and eastern United States

I wonder how long it'll take for this thread to turn into a global warming debate wink

The 2 previous years gave anti-GWer's a great argument. This year give the pro-GWer's a great argument.

Who's winning the debate? My best guess are the people that aren't caught up in the debate to begin with. Those of us that are making due with what we are given.

I've always said that if everyone skied powder once a week we would all get along just fine... smile smile smile smile

Does NOAA release these results every month or every two months, no matter the temperatures?

Sorry in advance if the thread devolves. wink
