Arrived Wed. evening, snowing steady. Got out Thursday morn (3/1) about 8:30 am. Nice powder all day long, deeper as the day went on. Not sure of the storm total, but would guess about 8-10". Skied Madonna Mnt all day. Hit all the blues and a couple of blacks and a couple of glades. Favorite runs of the day were Upper Drifter, Lower Drifter, Upper FIS & Ruthie's. Today, skied Sterling Mnt. Most were groomed. Favorite runs were Express, Thomke's, Lower Pipeline, Hangman,s & black Snake. Not sure what to ski tomorrow, will wait to see how the legs feel. Great snow conditions right now, timing has been perfect.

Long ride up gives you a chance to meet and talk to people. Met a woman yesterday who gave me her phone number and an offer to rent her condo next season. Going to look at this afternoon. That can't be a bad thing. Skied til 12:30 pm until the rains came. This has been a great trip and I've skied all these mountains have to offer. This old Mountaineer is tired
