Timberline is trying to keep going until April 1st. What other holdouts are expected south of NY-New England?
Still hoping the season isn't over here yet.

Jay Peak, Killington, etc. - not really mid atlantic though.
Snowshoe, Holiday Valley, Hidden Valley, Seven Spring are all closed this Monday. The 'other' resort pretty much have all closed.
Pretty depressing

Timberline may not be open next weekend (midstation only at best), and won't be on April 1st, unless it snows.
Still, it was great skiing this past Saturday with the rest of the DCSki and Timberline posse.
Well, not trying to sound presumptuous... We just got to Zermatt, Switzerland, this afternoon and it is obvious they're having a banner year in Europe. The train tracks from Visp up the cog rail into Zermatt are witness to several huge avalanches, the remnants of which come very close to the rail line. Right now at 2300 it's snowing like a banshee. Will report tomorrow after we ski the Gornergratt
Camelback is closing at 7pm on Sunday, March 18. Seven Springs will be closed Monday-Friday but plans to reopen Saturday March 24 for the pond skim.
Otherwise, I think that does it for PA.

I don't think there will be lift served skiing at the Springs next weekend, only the pond skimming party.
Did anyone ski WISP yesterday? Were they even open? If so, I hope they didn't charge anyone $ to ski/ride.
I was up in McHenry late yesterday and WISP's trails looked ugly, ugly, ugly.
I saw a lady at the top of t-line yesterday around 11 and she said it was awful there. They were skiing grass and mud with only the face and squirrel cage on Saturday and they closed for Sunday. Dunno if that was true.
t-line's web site announced what most of us knew. They are now closed for the season due to warm temps, group cancellations, etc... I was hoping to get some turns in from mid, but, it is what it is.
Comprex gave me a pair of nice leather 3 pin boots. Colleen has a pair of xcd i can borrow, still have the house to clean...................
Also happened further up north.

Well folks the proverbial buck stopped here as the less than stellar 2012 ski season came to an abrupt, sunny and mushy end after skiing on Sunday!
Stowe only has 57 of 113 trails open today.
Sugarbush only 31 of 111. And temps in the 70's!
come on ..the fish are biting allready...get over it!
Beach water temps are as high as u will ever SEA this time of year..short sleve wet suits will be all u need now for your wave fun...alligators came out of hibernation towards the end of feb!..taste like chicken!...should have put my crab pots out LAST weekend...cherry trees have bloomed...ITS OVER JOHNNY!!!!
Ps..why do I keep looking at the longrange for that red robin snow?

My daughter teaches in the MRG ski school. She said the last day had great spring skiing, followed by a great party scene on the deck!

your dual quads can get you up to ski. we skied down lightning last eve with a few narrow spots to french fry across. otw and thunderstruck looked continuous from top also. (besides the top flat below liftshack)
we will use every last drop i promise!
