Question, how many of you have switched to wearing a helmet and, for one reason or another rode without one once, and felt completely paranoid for your noodle?
Today, 7springs was a slush pit. Barely ridable for many of the few open areas. Riding a board, I was being tossed around like a rag doll hitting rather solid clumps of slush piles on the blues. I found myself taking larger angles, which...anyone that rides a board knows its actually hard to turn with your board facing so far from the fall line. Of course, I biffed, snow down my pants ....bopped my head a few times but all in all felt ok.
So moving on, I'd just like to say thanks to good old mother nature. You turned March lows into what is normally 10 degrees lower than the normal highs and KILLED the season with a bang!
Last day of riding today unless, I win a trip somewhere
Pretty messy out there.
Was at 7springs today. There was a CREEK running through the middle of a trail to wagner. lol. I had to hop over this.
