We are learning to ski and are looking for
a ski resort not too far from DC that in addition to green and blue slopes also has
some night life!

A nice hotel with a bar or lounge? Drinking, dancing, nighttime entertainment? Comedy Club?

Try Snowshoe. With Intrawest becoming owners, it has been reinvented. The new village has added to the ongoing activities, including and already-existing Red Fox (four star restaurant), several night clubs, a new pub (Eli's) and mile-high shopping. Once the village is fully complete, it will be no different from Whistler or Mt Tremblant, as it's patterned after the master Intrawest plan.
