98 wins is not too shabby.
If Teddy can finally win, why can't the Pirates?
Oh and Balmer has pretty decent baseball and football teams. And while I think RGIII is the real deal, please don't mistake me for a Skins fan.
Somethings to make the season before ski season a bit more enjoyable. Even if it looks like there will be no NHL for a bit.

I've got the ticket, now I just need for there to be a game four in the Nats first playoff series.

Several friends have tickets to games four and five (if necessary.) Enjoy the game. Sweep (either way) would really surprise me.
I'll be going to game three on Wednesday.
Town should be rocking next week.
How about a Nats vs. O's World Series. The infamous 'beltway series'.
Showalter has performed a managerial miracle this year with his starting pitching. 93 wins is unreal. There is a serious core of talent in Balmer, but the role guys have really come through. Incredible number of roster moves they've made this year; they've seem to push the right buttons at the right time.
I'd love to see the O's do well in the AL playoffs.

I was there for Jayson Werth's walk off game winning homer tonight at Nationals Park. That was fun! What an at bat, battled for 13 pitches until he finally nailed one.
For what I paid for a seat up in the ozone layer I could have skied a day at Deer Valley, but it was worth it.

Oh, and Teddy won again!
You picked the right game, Jim. I unfortunately spent a Deer Valley lift ticket and a gourmet lunch, plus most of a day off from work, to witness the 8-0 debacle on Wednesday.
So I guess Teddy has now won 3 straight.

Unfortunately, skiing Nats fans can now fully concentrate on ski season preparations.
One of the most painful baseball loses of all time. Ranks up there with the 86 Angels, 86 Red Sox, 93 Phillies, and 2011 Rangers. And 92 Pirates. Sid effing Bream.
