UKROPS grocery stores (mostly down near Richmond and central Va, one in Fredericksburg area) offer a $5-10 off deal good 7 days a week at Massanutten ski area near Harrisonburg, Va if you show a UKROPS frequent shopper card (free at UKROPS) when you buy your ticket. There may be a UKROPS in Harrisonburg area??

A more convenient way to save: Ski Chalet sells discount lift tickets for Massanutten, Wintergreen, Canaan, Blue Knob, plus other deals.

I did a little research the other day and I can't swear that this is all 100% accurate, but here's what I found out about when local areas will start their spring lift ticket discounts:
Massanutten-starts 2/28/00, wkend $25, wkday $20
Wintergreen-starts 3/6, wkend $29a/22jr
Timberline-starts 3/13, $26a/20jr
Snowshoe-starts 3/10, discounts on lifts and lodging
Blue Knob, Seven Springs, Liberty, Whitetail, Roundtop-via phone or email I've been told by these resorts there will likely be discounts, but exactly when and at what price is to be determined by management depending on developing conditions.
