Wisp doesn't appear to be open currently. Anybody have a reading on whether they still expect to offer discount skiing this coming Sunday and Monday for the resort's annual birthday celebration?

They still have it listed for Sunday and Monday, and taking a look at the webcams they are blowing snow on Squirrel Cage tonight.

If they have it, I'm planning on heading up Sunday. want to get a few turns in before I head to Whiteface the following weekend.

Looks like some activity on Wisp Trail overnight (December 5-6), too. Forecast for the next few days is discouraging, though.

I'm still a maybe for cake and skiing on Sunday.

Seems that the webcams aren't a high priority for Wisp right now.

So, Chad, where are you getting those photos? They seem more extensive than those posted on the Wisp webcams.

Anniversary celebration Dec 9-10 is no longer listed on Wisp's events calendar.

Just saw on their facebook page that they have resceduled the B-day celebraation for March 17 & 18.

I guess this means we are officially off to a slow start in these parts for lift served skiing. About 8.5 years out of 10 this event goes off well or very well.
