This will drag out Tucker out of the shadows. grin And Sincraft.

Looks like Upper Dew opened this AM (with from what it looked like yesterday, plenty of base.)

Any activity last night/today on OTW? Are the snow guns on WL still unhooked? After tonite, snow making looks marginal for the rest of the week.

How about other ski areas, any recent/current snow making activity? Bit of a rough weather stretch coming up. Not being 100 percent open by MLK weekend could make for some crowded slopes.

...you know what bait to fish with I guess...as far as I can see from my perching spot it appears t-line is makin' snow on the twister only, and Canaan no make snow at all...

From everything I can read, this Jan thaw should end with enough time for altitude resorts to make snow and repair snow next week before the MLK holiday weekend.
Cross your fingers and do a snow dance.

C'mon Colonel, you have enough past experience with Timberline to ever attribute logic, reason and organization to them. grin

...very strange, no lights on at timberline last night...they usually always have the lights on when making snow at night...it was down to 10 degrees at about 9 oclock last night so I would think they would have made snow at full blast....

They were making snow yesterday though. My morning was blessed with showers of snow, burning eyeballs, and zero visibility on Off the wall (2/3 upper section only), the terrain park, and twister. There's a ways to go on twister though... without a doubt.

They had to stop at around 1:30pm - twister was getting too warm of an exposure.
