Way to go 7Springs. Forgo upgrading snowmaking. Run snowmakers when it's too warm for your ancient systems throwing out water and slush so that by Jan 16 we have an average base of 6" with MANY areas only accessible by a small sliver of snow connecting slopes like one would see in April.

Then today's report.......
.... There may be a delay today in our mountain operations. (HUH?!) Today is Diet Pepsi Four-Pack Wednesday. Bring a Diet Pepsi proof of purchase to the Tubing Parkk and get four snow tubing tickets, four hot dogs and four Diet Pepsis for $9

HOT DOGS! YAHHHHHHH!

I joked around that they would forgo mountain operations for hot dog eating contests and frozen tshirt contests earlier this year...I guess I was onto something there....or maybe I'm just used to them running these same :
HOT DOGS in place of quality skiing
events.

For the sake of the season pass holders and the kids dreaming of the big half pipe competition Feb 1st, LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW!!!!!!

7Springs blows a few guns just to keep up the impression they are blowing snow. When they actually blow snow, its only to connect white spots together from the brown. Thats about as minimalistic as you can get!

Why upgrade snowmaking...
why run snowmaking when its cold enough...
Why put lights on the north face..
WHY OH WHY would we want to run our speed lift on the front face, as fast as a speed lift should run!

THERE IS NO NEED TO!
We have HOT DOGS Damnit!

and....
and......
AND FREE PARKING!
(Disclaimer - free parking is only available when you can actually find a spot between mouth breathers everywhere that believe this place worthy of a 6 hour drive. Free parking is good on Tuesday between April - November, unless there is snow during April or November then forget it. We will shuttle you from our lots in Ohio to the 400' vertical that we advertise as 750', where you will wait in line at our polar bear express for 20 minutes to ride 1500 feet in 7 minutes. Free parking requires you arrive before 9am. Please leave all lunches and packages in your car as you will not need them. Everything you will need will be IMPOSSIBLE to get to unless you want to take an hour to ride a bus back to teh parking area, wait for a return bus and get back to the slopes. You should just eat here. Just eat here. YOU REALLY should just eat here....
Is THIS the year you pay $8 for two chicken planks and 10 french fries?

Come on out everyone...stay at 7Springs. We have some CRAZY things happening this weekend. There will be ponies, and pony turds, some company will be here selling their over hyped crap to people that barely mastered the falling leaf, Whewwwwwwwww! GO FER IT.

Rooms are only $700 / night based on a 9 person occupancy , you must by 3 meals a day and 6 lifts tickets EACH.

It snowed up here (in western PA) last night!

PS - you know those hot dogs are left overs from PNC Park after the Bob's Bucco's annual collapse in August.

trace dusting at best. Even at the Springs. That's just enough to try to hide the brown spots for all the Holiday goers spending BIG dollars to untie frozen tshirts and eat hot dogs.
