My son and I decided to try a new place on Sunday. We cruised up to western NY and tried out Peek n Peak. I grabbed 2 all day lift tix on Liftopia for $38 each.
We drove thru a ton of lake effect snow once we got to Erie PA. It literally snowed our entire time there. Conditions were fantastic.
Crowds were minimal on their far side away from their terrain parks.
The slopes are not very long but the lack of crowds made it fun.
They have a TON of features in the parks. Jumps, rails, boxes all that stuff that's way out of my league.
Coolest thing was a giant air bag landing off a jump. Not sure why it was closed Sunday. What I gathered from a few locals was that you pay 5 bucks ride down the slope, hit the jump and land on the huge air bag.
It's a nice little place but by no means a challenge for any advanced or expert skiers. We enjoyed it and would go back again just for something different.
Here's a few pics.
