Liberty Mountain Resort offers a terrific opportunity for wounded warriors and their invited guests. You are welcome to a Warfighters weekend at Liberty and Gettysburg from Friday afternoon, March the First until Sunday the third ( a great way to escape the Sequester mess at that time!).

The program and weekend are FREE for the Warriors and their guests. This is thanks to generous grants from Disabled Sports USA, Liberty, BRASS (Blue Ridge Adaptive Ski) and many of the citizens, businesses, and organizations from the area.
If interested, please sign up NOW, before all the slots are filled. Please email me at connielawn@aol.com. Then, I will pass the lists onto the hard working instructors and organizers and they will contact you. The main organizers are Meredith Peace, Trippi and Tom Penland, Leslie and Dick White, and a cast of dozens!

Here is the program for the weekend:

March 1 - 3 to 6 pm - arrival and registration at the Quality Inn of Gettysburg Pa. Please provide your own transportation, or carpool if you can.

6:30 Banquet provided by the Gettysburg American Legion

March 2 from 9 am until 4 pm - Skiing, bi skiing, or snowboarding at Liberty Mountain

6:30 PM - Banquet at the Gettysburg Hotel - a very historic site.

March 3 - More snow sports on the mountain from 9 to 4. Group photo taken. Please check out of the motel first.
