I did not make it to Bryce today, but am setting up as local round-a-bout trip for Wed-Friday. Planning on hitting 2 or 3
of these four resorts: Timberline, Snowshoe, Wisp and Bryce. If I get a pass for Saturday, might hit Wintergreen.
Would like to meet up with any DCSkiers out there. Who is going where, when?

Good for all you guys. Think I'm done.

The last two weeks included two days at Silverton (awesome - unreal. The ultimate non-resort); two at Telluride (+ one epic evening drinking with Seth Morrison. True.); and a day apiece at Magic and Stratton (mostly in the trees).

I can't imagine topping that. Got my 30+ days on the snow in as well. It was quite a good season.

Home Depot, I'll see you on Saturday.

Now eating lunch in quality Bryce Resort restaurant. Have skied all runs several times. Good coverage side to side, some sun, some flurries, temp about 40, surface groomed/crunchy at first, now softening up. All trails open. $20 lift tickets ($30 on Sat) last day. Surprised at number of children and beginners; staying open might reap future customer rewards. First visit in too many years.
Their new non-detachable quad chair with moving loading carpet puts TLine's antiquated lifts to shame and is fast moving (Doc should see this setup, certainly less expensive than high speed quad!). Bryce sure does make the most from its near 500' vertical!
Thanks Bryce, this visit well worth the drive!!!
Oh, did I mention that my lift ticket was free - I'm over 70!

Timberline tomorrow! Leaving NOVA before 6 am to grab some morning freshies...

I called WG today and was told that they have 6+ in the last 24 hrs and 30+ for the week... not too shabby for March 28th

Changed mind and going to the land of sweetness and slow ancient chairs for Fri and Sat skiing at Timberline. Langleyskier, want to meet up? any other DCSkiers at TLine Fri-Sat? Meet when/where?

I wish Timberline was in the cards for me, but I'm not going to be able to make an early morning drive after a late night event my wife and I are going to tomorrow.

However, I may head up to Liberty for their last day of the season. They are even giving away a season pass for next year as part of their on the slope Easter egg hunt.
