Scott placed this article on the Home Page a few weeks ago. I am curious who is going, and to which show?

The Ski Club of Washington, DC (SCWDC) will be presenting Warren Miller’s 64th film - Ticket to Ride - on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the US Naval Heritage Center in Washington, DC. Warren Miller’s latest film takes ski and snowboard fans on an action-packed journey to some of the world’s most exotic destinations, including Alaska’s Tordrillo Mountains, Switzerland’s Jungfrau, and Montana’s Big Sky.
Tickets for the event are $12 (with discounts for 4- or 6-packs), and can be purchased at http://scwdc-wme2013.eventbrite.com. There will be two showings, at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
In addition to the movie, there will be a mini ski and snowboard show, door prize drawings, and deals on local ski area lift tickets.
The US Naval Heritage Center is located at 701 Pennsylvania Ave NW in Washington, DC, 20004.

I personally enjoyed the showings at the Arlington Drafthouse..it seems the Ski Club has moved in on the local license and likes to show it on Sundays. So no. Pre-season stuff to attend. That and the fact Warren Miller films have basically become quite the informercial. Call me fancy, but I like a little more art in my ski p*rn. ;-)
To that end, the TGR film is set for the Drafthouse on Thurs. Nov 21. I think Matchstick is a couple weeks later the first Thursday in December. Can't make Matchstick, but plans exist to hit the TGR flick.
