Snowshoe dropped the ropes this morning, Nov 27!!!!!
Good base, 4 lifts, multiple trails!! Thanks to all the massive amounts of snow made over the past 3 weeks. Great to look at webcam and see folks sliding and taking lessons!

Meanwhile, both resorts should reconsider the price of their lift tickets when they only have limited terrain open. Lift tickets for adults and children (6-11) at Seven Springs this weekend are $51 and $48. The regular Friday through Sunday weekend rates are $75 and $58.
That means adults and children are being charged about 66 percent and 80 percent of the regular rates to ski or snowboard on less than 20 percent of the resort’s 285 acres of terrain.
Hidden Valley’s lift-ticket rates for adults and children this weekend are $28 and $25. The regular Friday through Sunday weekend rates are $57 and $46. That means adults and children are being charged about 50 percent of the regular rates to ski and snowboard on less than 20 percent of the resort’s 110 acres of terrain."
Just to add further context, my wife and I are skiing Whistler/Blackcomb in late January and purchased lift tickets for $78 each for 3 days of skiing on a potential of 8171 acres.
Snowshoe is charging $59 for 13 slopes, walk up rate.
This is why I'm glad I got a pass for $200 it pays for itself in four days of skiing. I got 5 on it last year. So the resort share and any days this year are straight bonus.
