Liberty was real good today, Saturday Nov 30, 2013.  My son and I skied it from roughly 9am to 4pm.  After 46 seasons around here this was my first time skiing in the month of November!  The extended day ticket for $39 brought me out, but the crowds were pretty light, never more than about 20 people if any lines at all.  The manmade snow was really soft, fairly dry, and very skiable.  The best skiing was on three intermediate runs off the backside Eastwind Chair, Heavenly to 1) Whitney's Way 2)Lower Ultra 3)Lower Eastwind.  Dipsy Doodle was open to return to the front, which also had the terrain park and beginner area open.

Here are some shots.

Yours truly making tracks under a pale November sun.  Using brand new skis and coverage was so good on what was open that they never got a scratch:

Thanks for the report and the pics, Jim. I was able to get out to Massanutten today with my family. Conditions were really good - similar to what you found at Liberty, it would seem. No pics, unfortunately.

Hi Jim, I'm not sure why the photos are stretched like that, but to prevent that from happening, re-scale them so they're no wider than 700 pixels before uploading them.

Excellent, thanks for sharing.  Hoping to see more from others who got out this weekend at the various resorts that were open..
