Thanks, Bumps.  I'm in CA with Daniel and his family right now.  They have their season pas at Kirkwood this year.  2.5 weeks ago they skied in 30" of fresh.  Right now the Bay Area is under an inversion with very warm temps and much haze and smog.  No forecast snow at Tahoe for the next week.  But, when it snows in the Sierra it comes in feet, not inches.  I'm sure there will be several such storms this season.
