I might be losing it, but the front page shows new posts going into the report glitch thread, but when I look there I only see posts from a month or more ago??

Your sanity is intact.  I made a post in the glitch thread indicating that while I showed a green marker indicating that there was a new post, I could not find it...and more importantly the green marker stayed on after I looked at the thread.  I notice the the post I made apparently never showed up as a post even though the tread shows a new post by me????!!!

There is a glitch in the glitch!!!
