I know boyce park is just a small ski hill with 2 lifts but, shouldn't it still get a listing!   Can't go wrong with $10 midweek tickets! ha

Honestly I am intrested in small local hills.   Anyone know of any others in the Mid-Alantic?

Well I know of one other small hill.

Oglebay in Wheeling, WV

A triple chair lift, accessing a 815 ft. slope with a 168 ft. vertical drop.

Lift tickets $15-$26

If you like small hills you should move to Ohio.  Mad River Mountain has an amazing terrain park, and only 300 feet of vert.  We also have Ski Clear Fork, which I believe may have 200 feet of vert and three lifts!  I have sledded down larger hills.  Snow trails isn't much better.  And it is all pretty cheap.

Oh cool article! Yeah I have been to Boyce twice this year and have been impressed...it's still very beginner focused but, they have installed new snow guns and maintained a nice little snowboard park.

Little did I know Jim Shultz (who used to own Sno Zone http://www.dcski.com/lostareas/viewlostprofile.php?id=100 ) is the new head of ski orperations! Cool
