I'm on the fence on getting the snow time season pass next year over the advatage card. Right now I have a $25 season pass coupon, and if the snow holds up will probably get out at least twice in March. If they would confirm the mountains of distinction deal I think I would jump on it, but either way I find it a nice bill to bank on the weather next year. I see myself getting out at least 12-15 times next year if the weather is decent.

How have others fared on breaking even and do most of you go pass or advatage card?

Thanks for the input.

My math, splitting the difference between weekday & weekend/holiday, and always getting a 4-hour pass, indicated we needed to ski about 7.5 times to break even on our season passes.  We easily had that done before Xmas.  Been free skiing since then

11 weekend 8 hour sessions with Advantage Card is about the cost of a season pass.

5 weekend 8 hour sessions at window rate is about the same as 5 days w/Advantage Card.

Probably gonna go for it. Get out twice more this season and breaking even next year will probably happen in December or January as long as the weather is halfway decent.

I'd go for the pass if you're going to ski that much.  I've done that for the past several years and it's worked well.

And I do take advantage of the Mountains of Distinction program -- a fun way to area-hop at a discount.  The program has changed little, if any, over the past 5 years, so odds are that it continues.
