As a few of you might know, sportcar racing is my "other" hobby.

This weekend is the start of the Sports Car Club of America's local regional racing season, the Mid Atlantic Road Racing Series at Summit Point Motorsports Park in Summit Point, WV. There will be NO GATE FEE for this weekend, Qualifying sessions in the morning and sprint races in the afternoon on Saturday, April 12 and feature races on Sunday, April 13th. There will also be a Cars and Coffee event at the track on Sunday morinng, and the demonstration of an electric race car during lunch on both days. Summit Point is between Charles Town, WV and Winchester, VA

they have a race each year at summit point which I have watched a couple of times.  The Lemons guys have a slogan, "Racing should not be for just rich idiots, it should be for all idiots."
